What people are saying about Tanya…

Tanya Krueger presented Disabled Bodies, Able Minds at Appleton Public Library on January 14, 2013. Her PowerPoint presentation and delivery were done in a professional manner. She left time for a question and answer session at the end. Tanya filled her PowerPoint with statistics, illustrations, and photographs of her childhood through college graduation. She described Spina Bifida and Scoliosis and the disabling aspects of these conditions. We learned about the physical difficulties of being disabled and the mental challenges due to discrimination. Tanya inspired the audience with her can-do attitude and sense of humor. She is independent and accepts her condition with grace. Tanya is truly an inspiration and I highly recommend her presentation to other groups. –Elizabeth D. Eisen, MLIS, Adult Programming Librarian, Appleton Public Library

Tanya was a delight to have in class: always cheerful and upbeat, always ready for the class at hand. Most impressive was Tanya’s ability to relate to others and her “no excuses!” philosophy of life. (The French novelist, Jean-Paul Sartre, would have been proud of her! –Joe Gemin, Professor of Communication, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh

Tanya composed and delivered several excellent presentations for my classes at UW Oshkosh. She speaks with clarity and confidence, and has a very engaging sense of humor. I enjoy listening to her speak. If any organization were searching for a high quality motivational speaker, I would recommend Tanya without reservation! –Tony Palmeri, Professor of Communication, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh

Just read your article in Engage. As a R-T-F alum and a mom of a little girl with Spina Bifida…I just wanted to say thank you for being a role model for our kiddos that are growing up. Keep up the good work! 🙂 –Gretchen Campbell Berthiaume

I was born with Spina bifida-the worst type…but my parents always taught me I could do whatever I put my mind to and that I always had a choice in how I was going to respond to the circumstances in my life… I became a fan because I loved your concept! Blessings to you! –Shauna Bruce-Hamburger
